A true visionary of the entrepreneurial world, Naveen Jain is one of the reputable industrialists of today’s information industry. He worked for Microsoft Corporation from June 1989 to March 1996. He was promoted to a senior executive and was part in the development of the Microsoft Network. Afterwards he created InfoSpace - a website that offers online directory for personal and business purposes. In 2003 he co-founded Intelius Inc. Currently serving as its chief executive officer, Naveen Jain directs his company towards the vision of providing critical information for businessmen and consumers that may be decisive in their decision making. But just as important, he is leading Intelius into a sense of giving. Motivating his employees to philanthropy, Naveen Jain has created several programs in his company to promote charity. Workers can get paid leave whenever they volunteer to work with their own choice of charity. The company also will match their donations up to $250. This dedication helped earn Intelius the honor of being labeled by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the leading corporate philanthropists.

He is also a benefactor of several local and non-profit organizations. A few organizations of which he is a patron of are the Overlake Service League, United Way, Children’s Hospital, Child Rights and You (CRY), Hopelink, Bellevue Boys and Girls Club, Rotary Club, Vedic Cultural Center, Indian American Education Foundation, University Preparatory Academy, and the University of Washington where he is supporting an undergraduate scholarship program for students in computer science, business, and engineering.

Naveen Jain is a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee with a degree of BS Engineering and a post-graduate from XLRI Jamshedpur, School of Business and Human Resources. He earned many awards for his success in his entrepreneurial ventures; these include: the Albert Einstein Technology Medal Winner, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, American Business Award Best New Company (for Intelius), and the WSA Industry Achievement Award (for the identity theft protection product IDWatch).
