You guys know I am not so miserable, because life can be lonesome without a date. Here’s the scoup, merely hours ago I filed three years of back taxes. To ease the pain that comes from being alone, of course. I pretend to be ashamed about it. Am I crazy? Well, that’s the moment when I first thought about meeting new singles in my new hometown.

I already knew the solution. I can mix up my social life with professionally hosted Denver singles events. And it could do me good. Here’s a story. I was at little Brent’s Easter egg hunt in Dallas last night, Richard wanted to know if I’ve found the love of my life. At first I didn’t know what to say to that. Anyway, I looked up at them and yelled, “I’m eating here, and no.”

Can you believe that even Gramps continued harping about my companionship situation. I joked to the family gang: “Hey look, I’ll never find a gorgeous single woman hanging out with you.”

You know what? Everyone looked away and giggled. Immediately, I called Dave just to get some perspective. I still have no idea what to do! It was more useful listening to my dad, which is never the case. Billy, who recently moved to Italy advised that I meet singles at Great Expectations. I said, “Fine, okay.” Should have thought of it myself. I can speak highly of Great Expectations Denver.

Early on, dating services were kinda foreign as I am a simple guy. I was a bit nervous at first, that my hands started sweating. A mere slight disaster couldn’t bring an end to another incredible Great Expectations event. The evening was a limo pub crawl from heaven. The truth is I’ll never forget all the attractive, single women.

Afterwards, I realized why so many people show up to these amazing Great Expectations Dallas singles events and mixers, I ran into some great people who certainly have similar ideas for how dating should be done. Now I can stop letting so many people give me a hard time about me being single at my age. Astoundingly enough, doing things with Great Expectations is a lot of fun and just what I’ve been looking for.
