Diana Vickers - Admits She Would Love to Return to ‘the X Factor’
The pipe organ is a extraordinary & fascinating instrument. The intricate design of the pipe organ allows it to formulate sounds so complex that no other instrument comes close. The organ’s sustained supply of wind allows for it to hold up notes for as long as the matching keys are pushed, different the harpsichord and piano, the sounds of which commence to decline the longer the keys are sustained. The timbre of pipe music is wholesome and woody. This mixed with the simple shape of the melody furnishes an dramatic tone. When played in cathedrals it develops an exquisite sound that will leave anyone enthralled. Some pay ancient Greeks credit for inventing the pipe organ specially Ctesibius of Alexandria. The deficiency of definition between the tones means that it is really difficult to play quick paced music.
Through time the organ has had improvements, and had some assorted variations. Organ music is magic; even a naive, everyday listeners can be uplifted by the complexness of sounds from a true pipe organ just as one would prefer a live concert to a recording. Nowadays, modern digital organs have processor hardware inside a console that makes tones whereas virtual organs access samples of real organ tones stored on a memory card. Pan pipes are believed to be the root of the organ. Many pipe organs expect two people to work it so that it can make organ music. Pipe organs are usually seen in church buildings, the notes of the pipe organ add to the grand experience of the church.
In 1904, the monster of all monster pipe organs was created. Even Mozart named the organ the King of all instruments. The Wanamaker Grand Court Organ was made to make the most loud-voiced sounds achievable. It is used at least 2 times a day all day of the week.
As the demand for these have changed over time, so has the way pipe organ builders of america continue to build organs to serve our demands.

Ofcom Refrains from Commenting on the Digital Economy Act Threshold In Spite of Market Rumours
The Digital Economy Bill was supported and pushed forward by those who believed that it would curb illegal file sharing. However, it was criticised by a large number of people who said that the law does not provide any precise way for deciding which user will be liable for downloading files illegally from the website.
The bill has now become an Act and requires the internet service providers (ISPs) to help the content builders in curbing piracy through illegal file sharing. The ISPs will have to co-operate in sending warning letters to the accused. If the accused persists, he or she may also find the network disconnected temporarily or the bandwidth restricted. It has been feared that the cost of implementation would be too high for ISPs, as they would be always worried about being held liable for the actions of their users. Wi-Fi service providers may suffer extinction.
However, it seems that Ofcom is trying to consider these difficulties while creating a Code of Practice for the Act. According to the Registrar, market rumours suggest that Ofcom is defining the threshold for the application of the Act in a manner that mobile broadband providers and small fixed-line ISPs will fall outside the scope of the regulations and will not have to follow the Act. The rationale for the same is that they will be unable to meet the costs of implementation.
The rumour has not been confirmed or rejected by Ofcom as it has not made any statement yet.
Users can keep up-to-date with the developments at Broadband Genie. Why Michael Jackson Music Videos Inspired a Generation of Dancers
Growing up in Crown Heights, Anthony Rue II wanted to be like Mike.
Not Jordan, prince of basketball — Jackson, king of pop. Rue, a native of that Brooklyn neighborhood, was raised on Moonwalker, like so many children of the 1980s. But as a little boy harnessing a raw talent for dance, Jackson’s stylish, high-concept choreography and music videos lifted him toward a higher calling.
Now 27, Rue — who trained first on the street and then in the studio — is a professional dancer and choreographer, currently performing on Madonna’s “Sticky & Sweet” tour.
“He’s the main reason why I even started dancing,” Rue said of Jackson, who died of cardiac arrest on June 25. “But I didn’t think his death would have hit me as hard as it did…. I guess those kid years kind of came back and reminded me how much of a fan I was.”
For many young dancers — especially boys — Jackson’s singular grooves were transformative. And with the MTV video revolution, they could be viewed any given second: the dance-centric visual classics (”Beat It,” “Smooth Criminal” and many more) introduced the superstar’s jaw-dropping, theatrical style to a younger generation of movers who also expressed themselves through dance.
“That was the teaching — watching stuff from the TV screen,” Rue said in an interview from Brussels, Belgium, near the site of Madonna’s recent concert in the city of Werchter. “When you’re watching him at a young age and he’s moving like that, you don’t think of anything else but ’superhero,’ ‘not real,’ ‘magic.’”
By all accounts, when Jackson danced, he morphed into a completely different person. As he struggled with his self-image and personal demons that resulted in a disturbingly altered visage, on stage he shrugged it all off with a showmanship that was pure, distinctive and unparalleled.
Stephen Hill, the executive vice president of entertainment and music programming at BET, described his dance style in a ridiculously appropriate word: “Jackson-esque.”
Breakthrough Chord Structure Makes Playing Piano a Breeze!
Do you know why playing guitar is so much easier than playing piano? It’s because guitar players learn how to use chords first. Even before note reading!
They usually learn how to play chords in the first position. Called open position chords, the beginning guitarist quickly learns how to finger this position and can immediately create music. That’s why so many people love the guitar and want to learn it!
They don’t waste time learning “the masters” or anything like that at all. Nope. It’s all contemporary. Unless of course it’s classical guitar.
Now why can’t those interested in learning piano have the same benefits? After all, it’s not like everyone wants to learn how to play Bach or Beethoven.
The good news is you can play piano using only chords. But not just any chords. I’m talking about learning a chord structure that will have you sounding like a professional right away! It’s called the Open Position Chord and with it, you’ll be able to create your own unique music!
I know it sounds far-fetched. I didn’t think I could make my own music either until I discovered this chord position from a book titled “The Four-Way Keyboard System.” In it, the author Alan Swain goes into great detail about the benefits of learning this chord structure.
I didn’t have to really read what he wrote. I just played it. And I was hooked! Here was something I could learn quite easily. And I could learn it in all 12 keys - just as easily! I had found what I was looking for. A modern sounding chord that would let me improvise with both hands at the piano right away AND sound good doing it!
Most of us know what triads are. This 3-note chord structure has been used to introduce students to chording on the piano. But learning triads isn’t necessarily the best place to start. In fact, there really is no good reason to begin your piano studies with triads.
Listen, if your goal is to read music and play kum-ba-ya, then by all means, spend countless hours learning how to read music and play triads. But, if you want to improvise and create your own unique music, I can think of no better chord structure than the open position chord!

James Blunt Back To Bedlam CD Review
Talented former British army man James Blunt has released his debut CD on the Atlantic recording label, entitled Bedlam.
This surely isn’t something we’d expect from a guy who was a part of the NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo, rode horseback for the Queen and watched over the Queen Mother as she lay in state.
Back to Bedlam is a pleasantly varied, mellow mix of 10 very well written songs by this superb new artist. Most of which display a lot of raw emotion. Drawing from his own personal experience, he sings great songs of love, heartbreak, pain, relationships and unattainable romance.
The CD launches with a great track, High, that will definitely be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so.
Overall Bedlam is an outstanding release. I give it two thumbs up.
While this entire CD is outstanding the truly standout tunes are High [track 1], Wisemen [track 3], and So Long Jimmy [track 7]. My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore […as in “Stuck On REpeat”] is track 2, You’re Beautiful. Very nice!
